The Malta Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (MBSF) was established in May 2020 with the support of the Maltese Olympic Committee. We are a member of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF) which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

As a newly founded federation, we are looking to grow winter sport opportunities for athletes who are hard working and motivated with the ability to train in a high-performance environment that reflect the Maltese sport values. Skills to compete in sliding sports include explosive power, strength, speed and more importantly, those who have a team mentality.The MBSF is also seeking sponsorships to support the development plans of growing the sport for the 2026 Milan/Cortina Winter Olympic Games in Italy.
